Looking for a couple good kids-
How would you like to be a Roving Youth Reporter for The American Shetland 2010 Congress in Ardmore, Oklahoma that will be uploaded to Youtube.com? Your opportunity to not only be a reporter but to be a reporter with a brand new Flipcam webcam!
Here's How (Rules):
What do you have to do?
Write two paragraphs on why you believe you would be a good roving reporter for Congress 2010 and provide 2 example reports you would do per day at Congress to upload to Youtube.com. Our expectations are to have two reports per youth loaded up to youtube.com during the day for a national and international audience. Must be present at Congress 2010 to participate.
Where is this at? - The American Shetland Pony Congress in Ardmore, Oklahoma during the week of August 2nd through August 6th 2010.
Expectations:
Youth will be expected to work with adult leadership to define their 60 second or more reports and then upload their reports via youtube.com daily. A list of adults and their computers the youth can use to upload will be available to the winner for Congress. (Youth will not have to supply a computer) A Parental consent form for the youth to participate will have to be signed.
The youth's responsibility is to represent the American Shetland Pony Congress in a professional, yet fun manner to show our audience what a fantastic National Show we have. An adult will view and approve the report before it is uploaded and aired. No swearing or bad representation will be allowed.
Who Wins?:
One winner from each age group (13-17 age group and 12 & Under age group) will win the opportunity to be a roving youth reporter and win a brand new Flipcam

When is it due?:
Submissions to be delivered to Jackie Tyler by email or United States Postal service on July 15, 2010. Entries that have been received after July 15th will not be accepted. Entries will not be returned.
