COH Baccarra Grand Prix is a 34" 5 year old black gelding #282681. Prix has been shown in driving and is learning how to jump as well. He has been donated by Little Kings Farm and we are very thankful for a horse of his calibur.

I love minis and I would be so excited if I won Prix.
I have been involved with minis for two years. I got started through therapeutic horseback riding. I have done therapeutic riding for four years. My riding instructor also has minis. Most of the other riders go to Special Olympics. I can't go because I am not mentally handicapped, just physically. He felt bad that I didn't have something to train for, so he got me started showing minis.
I really enjoy showing and driving minis at shows. I like helping get my horse ready to show. It is fun just sitting in the alley holding him and letting people pet him and take their pictures with him.
I show my mini as well as some other minis. I drive someone else's mini because mine is not old enough yet to drive. I have completed two show seasons.
I have not been able to raise my mini everyday because he is boarded somewhere else. Even though I don't get to see him everyday, I know how to exercise, feed and give him the other care he needs. The trainer who takes care of my horse is very good at educating me on things I ask about.
My mini is at a trainer because he is a young show horse that needs training that we don't know how to give him. Even though we live on a farm we are not currently set up to give him the care or training he needs. It is my goal to have my mini at our farm so I can spend time with him every day.
I have been very well educated on how to care for horses and I could give him the care he needs. Another reason I think I deserve this mini is because I can't compete very well in organized athletics like a lot of kids my age, but showing minis allows me to compete in something without a lot of help or disadvantages. I compete in PMC and regular classes. When I'm competing in PMC I am competing with kids of my own abilities.
If I win this horse, I would help train it and I would show it as often as possible. Winning Prix would allow me to compete in classes I can't now because I don't have a horse that qualifies for other classes. I would also have my own horse to drive instead of someone elses. My goal long-term is for me to be able to share my love of minis with others by taking them to parades and nursing homes.
When I hear my number called for first place, I am happier than I ever imagined I could be. Minis have given me happiness and opportunities that I might not of otherwise had.
